Tips
Easy Mode:
Clear 10 obstacles in a row to gain a little extra distance from the truck.
Hard Mode:
Clear 15 obstacles in a row to gain a little extra distance from the truck. It's also faster, has more obstacles, and the truck is more aggressive.
Seagull Shuttle Service:
A low-flying seagull will carry you safely over a few obstacles, but timing is everything. Be quick or miss your ride.

Inspired after playing the Google Dinosaur Game I wanted to build a version featuring something that pops up in many of the audiobooks I listen to. For those sent forcibly to a new world, they often get there with a helpful shove from truck-kun. This took on a life of its own after a while and became wildly more complicated than that simple dino runner.
This endless runner casts you as a human desperately trying to outrun your destiny. Life throws a frankly absurd number of obstacles in your path as you do your best to survive. Banana peels, open manholes, traffic cones, piles of boxes… each one exists for a single reason. To slow you down while truck-kun gets ever closer.
The question isn’t if you’ll be hit.
It’s when.
About the Game
I wanted a game that reminded me of old-school Atari or Commodore 64 style games, where the cover artwork massively oversold the game you were getting. The type where the art looked like a full Hollywood action scene, then the actual game was something like:
a rectangle for the player
a 16×16 sprites
three colours
a square for the truck
In the end, I went a little more overboard on the graphics and gameplay than I had originally intended to make, but I had a lot of fun doing it. I even had fake game cover artwork made for it. Check it out below!
Future Improvements
I’d like to add music and maybe some sound effects, but frankly I have spent way too much time on this already and just wanted everyone to see it!
