The Adventure of Sleepy Bear: A Bedtime Story for Kids

Sweet Bedtime Story

Review by: The Audiobook ReviewThe Adventure of Sleepy Bear, written by Daphne A. Knight, is short and sweet - just what you want for a bedtime story! A relaxing tale with a message for the kids about a bear who can't fall asleep without a treasured stuffed animal.

I played this at bedtime to my daughter (7), and I assume she loved it - she fell asleep right before... well, that would be spoilers! Right before the end, put it that way.

A couple of really minor issues I noticed (but I doubt my daughter would) were that a few tenses seemed out of place. Not sure if the narrator messed up or if the story was written that way.

Narration by Max Herzfeld was on point. Melodic and deep, unrushed. Perfect for bedtime stories.

I was given this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I have not let this gift affect nor influence my opinions of this audiobook and have left an honest review.
