Available for the first time in a single volume, all five Nyssa Glass Adventures.

Nyssa Glass is a reformed cat burglar turned electrician's apprentice, settled into a life repairing videophones and radio-sets. However, when her past comes calling, she finds herself on the run for a murder she did not commit. As her quiet life goes up in sparks, she must face killer robots, menacing villains, and sarcastic computers in a race for survival.

Nyssa has her hands full just trying to stay one step ahead of the police, but she still has time for adventure, humor, and even a taste of romance.

Fun Steampunk Action Adventure
Steampunk is one of those genres I never really found myself that taken with. I like the idea of it, but I think it always seemed... I dunno, too hipster or something. I took a gamble on this since it featured a heroine who intrigued me - a reformed cat burglar going straight forced back into the life she left behind.

All five Nyssa Glass adventures by H. L. Burke are here, but I think by and large the first was my favourite of the lot. The technology was steampunk enough to be different, but also believable enough to be real, and the storyline I really enjoyed. The second story dragged for me a little, but overall for the collection I think it was a solid 4 stars.

There is a little romance throughout, but not enough to define this a romance shoehorning its way into a sub-genre to gain rankings (a pet peeve of mine). Overall it's a series I wouldn't object to my kids getting into when they're older (a combination of a little too young to understand and at that age where they think books are boring).

Narration by Mary Ann Weathers was excellent, with plenty of distinction between characters and no issues obvious enough to warrant me noticing or mentioning them.

So the TL;DR - Very happy with this, my first real foray into steampunk.

I was given this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I have not let this gift affect nor influence my opinions of this audiobook and have left an honest review.
